其实阅读题分数是有一个转化过程的,阅读题的原始分值和转化后的对应分值。新托福阅读每篇题量为12-14题,每篇阅读除了最后一道题为2分外,其余题目分值都是1分,所以托福阅读总的原始分值为45分。所以。同学们如果在考试中因为时间问题迫不得已要舍弃一道题目时,尽量不要舍弃小结题。一般情况下,这类题目是多选题,6个中选择3个,选错一个扣一分,错2个或3个不得分。

34道题,一题一分,总分34分,按比例换算成30分制。
在新托福听力部分,大部分正确答案的分值是1分,有些问题的分值可能是2分。
1.当问题的分值是1分时,所有的项目都要回答正确,这一题才算是拿到了全部分值。
2.当问题的分值是2分时,比如,四选三的题目,必须全部答对才能得到所有分值;选对2个,可得到1个分值。

1.每道口语题会被一位考官给一个原始分(0-4之间的整数分)。
2.一个考生的六道口语题,会被至少两位,最多三位考官评分。
3.六道口语题的分数加在一起(0-24分),取算数平均值(0-4分之间,但会出现小数点后0/.83/.66/.50/.33/.16六种不同情况)
4.该平均值转换为0-30分的总分。

从上表,我们能够得知,口语分别从六个方面对考生的英文水平进行评估。后四个,流利程度、发音、语法及词汇与雅思口语考试评分标准相当。不同的是,新托福口语考试在语法和词汇的使用上要求更高一些。而发音和流利程度只要求是generally达到标准就好(generally=for most parts)。语法和词汇方面则是high degree of accuracy。大家对词法和语法方面经常出问题的话,这时要注意了。前三个,完整回答、可理解及组织语言方面,我们可以发现完整回答要求大家全面的阐述话题;学生自己的说的话应该能够被理解;组织语言方面,考生的Response应该组织严密,逻辑性强。这就是四分对各位考生的要求。
三分评分标准

The student uses either accurate easier vocabulary or more advanced vocabulary with some errors.
从上表中,我们发现3分的评分标准已经降低了很多。大家注意副词及转折词的使用,如adequately but…。在发音和流利程度方面,3分允许大家出现失误。在语法和词汇方面,已经允许考生使用简单语法及单词,而且可以出现一些失误。相对于国内能拿到大学英语四、六级的学生,3分一般都是可以拿到的。

托福写作评分包括机器评分以及人工评分两部分。
机器评分主要通过E-rater,对考生文章的语法是否正确、用词是否得当、以及单词拼写及大小写是否准确等方面进行评分;一篇考生的文章会经过两台机器评分。
人工评分通过ETS阅卷人评分,综合写作和独立写作分别有两位阅卷人给出分数。
托福写作原始分数为0-5分,考生得分分为三个level:GOOD(4.0-5.0),FAIR(2.5-3.5),LIMITED(1.0-2.0),最终成绩通过两个科目的分数取平均分,再换算为30分制的分数。
