学校概况
索乐伯瑞是由Laurie Erskine, Julian Lathrop, Robert Shaw and Arthur Washburn四位热忠于教育的人士于1925年创办的，当年9月开学的时候仅有四名男生。学校于1949年和当地的另一所女子学校合并成立了今天的索乐伯瑞学校，该学校成为了当时全美第一批的私立学校之一。经过半个多世纪的发展，学校现有学生220名（其中包括15%的国际学生），男女学生比例各占50%。学校校园占地90公顷，位于历史小镇New Hope（在费城和纽约之间）。该学校是经过美国中部地区学院和学校协会认证的学校，同时学校也是宾夕法尼亚州私立中学协会和美国私立中学协会会员学校。

教学
学校的教学宗旨是帮助学生成为一个学习的追求者和具有良好思考能力的世界公民。学校提供小班教学，平均每班人数为12人，学生会得到更多的机会与同学和老师进行交流，有利于他们的成长。另外，学校还定期组织各类的讲座，以拓宽学生的知识面使学生得到全面的教育机会。学校为国际学生提供英语强化课程，每班人数在5-8人左右。学年英语课程从9月开始至第二年的6月，学期英语课程从3月开始至6月，6周英语课程则从7月初开始至8月中旬。
升学率
在过去的5年中，斯特姆国王学校的大学升学率一直保持在99。9%，其中2/3的学生进入包括宾夕法尼亚大学、杜克大学、乔治。华盛顿大学、普渡大学、西北大学、约翰。霍普金斯大学、纽约大学、伊利诺伊大学、华盛顿大学圣露易斯分校、威斯丽学院等在内的美国前100大学学习。
