学校介绍
麦克德维特高中 成立于1918 年，其优秀的学术传承在当地颇有名望。学校位于城郊区，占地87 英亩，校园美丽，设施一流。100% 毕业率，96% 大学升学率。学校拥有30 个俱乐部活动、14 项体育活动，为学生发展兴趣爱好提供了广阔的发展平台。学校十分注重学习气氛以及学生心理健康的培养， 是少数提供朋辈咨询项目(Peercounseling) 的学校之一。朋辈咨询项目即由同龄人担任辅导员，以介乎专业心理辅导与同龄人聊天之间的沟通方式，帮助朋辈进行心理辅导。非常适合初到美国，交际能力不算突出的中国学生。学校提供丰富的选修课程，包括心理学、Java 编程、微积分初级、人文英语、人文历史、美国史与政府、微积分、美国史与经济、生物、化学、代数、几何学、法语、物理、会计、美国文学。知名校友：Carmen Finestra: 1965 年毕业生，好莱坞电影制片人及电视作家; MargaretCarlson： 1963 年毕业生， TIME 杂志第一位女专栏作家; Mary Knacks tedt：1958 年毕业生，演说家、作家及室内设计专家;等。
