肯特高中建于1906年，是一所独立的、男女合校寄宿中学，位于康涅狄格州的西北部阿巴拉契亚山间小道与豪萨托尼河之间。学校的学习气氛活跃，学校不仅培养学生的学习能力，今后能胜任大学的学习，更培养学生正确的人生观。学校为学生设置了多门大学先修课程（AP），帮助他们进入理想中的大学，并且立志把学生培养成有领导力、独立能力、富有同情心的社会新人。

基础课程：
艺术史，生物，初级微积分，高级微积分，化学，初级电脑科学，高级电脑科学，英文，英文文学，欧洲歷史，环境科学，法文，法国文学，德文，拉丁文（Vergil），总体经济学，个体经济学，初级物理，高级物理，心理学，西班牙文，西班牙文学，美术，统计学，美国歷史，美国政府与政治。
AP课程：25门
英语文学，心理学，经济学，美国历史，美国政府与政治，法语，德语，法国文学，西班牙语，西班牙文学，物理，生物，化学，计算机科学，环境科学，艺术史等
校园活动：
学校具有如编程俱乐部、模拟联合国俱乐部、动物权利俱乐部、数学俱乐部、音乐俱乐部等等超过30个学生社团，有很多的课外活动，除了现有的大量的俱乐部之外，学校还会鼓励你去创办一些新的俱乐部。活动涉及的内容包括肯特新闻、模拟联合国和意大利俱乐部，或者是文化俱乐部。每个俱乐部的人数不限，因此你可以随意参加，但是要记住一点，过多的参加俱乐部也会占用你的学习时间。
