朗沃德大学（法姆维尔）是美国弗吉尼亚州一所四年制的公立文科大学，建于1839年，2002年成为综合性的大学。
朗沃德大学开设主修和辅修的专业多达100多个，其中以商科最为出名，其次是教育系和心理系。开设专业有：人类学，艺术，运动训练学，生物学，工商管理，会计，商务教育，计算机信息工程，经济学，金融学，管理学，市场营销，房地产，零售，化学，通信科学与障碍，通信研究，大众传媒，组织和战略通信，计算机科学，犯罪学与刑事司法，商务经济，国际经济，公共政策，英语，历史，运动机能学，法语，德语，西班牙语，通识教育，初等教育教师证，中学教育教师证，特殊教育教师证，音乐，教育，表演，钢琴教学法，物理学，政治科学，法学预科，专业医疗预科，社会学，戏剧，休闲疗法等。除此以外学校还开设了一系列的网上课程。
选择理由
1.朗沃德大学是美国南部的顶尖高校之一，在2012年USNews公布的美国南部高校排名中位于第29位，在南部公立大学的排行中更取得了第9名的好成绩。此外，学校还被《福布斯》杂志（2010）评选为美国最佳大学之一。
2.安排在校生到各大知名企业实习，例如：迪斯尼、纽约国家广播公司、联邦储备银行、纽约人寿保险等，实习率100%。
3.本科毕业生还有机会被选送到美国知名的研究所继续完成硕士学位的深造，研究院包括弗吉尼亚大学、威廉马莉大学、弗吉尼亚理工、杜克大学、约翰霍普金斯大学、密歇根州立大学、俄亥俄州立大学以及芝加哥大学等。
4.申请时无需提供SAT成绩，只要TOEFL达到79分及以上即可。因为是滚动招生，所以没有明确的截止申请日期，任何时候都可以申请。
5.大学所在的小镇安静怡人，四周环山，距离华盛顿仅3小时车程。
