达林顿学校

达林顿学校成立于1905年，是一所具有近百年历史的走读寄宿中学，实行男女同校的教育，提供从预备幼儿园到高中，一共12个年级的学习教育。校训是：智慧胜于知识；服务超过自我；荣誉高于一切。校园占地500英亩，校内环境优美，交通十分便捷。学校实行小班教育，与传统的教育方式不同，达林顿学校更注重发展学生的自信心和独立能力，为他们进入更高一等的学府做准备。来自40多个城市，20多个州的400多个学生组成了达林顿的大家庭，学校为学生们提供了优越的学习环境和良好的教育设施。学校还有专门的就业指导中心，根据学生的爱好和发展方向来设计适合于每位学生的学习和就业蓝图。
校园设施：
校内有四栋学术大楼。学校图书馆和Kawamura科学中心为学生提供充足的学习空间。九万六千平方英尺的运动中心于二零零一年八月投入使用。快餐店白天开放，医疗室全天提供医疗服务。
学校住宿：
学生住单一性别宿舍。每栋宿舍有一个休息室，学生可以到休息室看电视、看电影或者聊天。每个宿舍房间有T1互联网接口。
学习科目：
6年级：英文、数学、地球科学、地理、西班牙语、体育
7年级：英文、数学、生活科学、美国历史、西班牙语、体育
8年级：英文、数学、物理化学、美国历史、西班牙语、体育
其它课程：美术、计算机、创意写作、戏剧、健康教育、新闻学、乐团活动、合唱团、法语等
AP课程和荣誉课程，包括：代数 ，几何 ，微积分统计，生物，物理，化学，拉丁语，法语，西班牙语，俄语，英语，历史，音乐，美术，计算机和工艺等。有3个学期，每期12周，每晚可学习2.5个小时。
学校提供ESL课程。
校园活动：
运动项目：棒球、篮球、越野、橄榄球、高尔夫、网棒球、足球、游泳/跳水、网球、径类、摔跤、啦啦队、垒球、排球、皮划艇和武术。
课外活动：话剧团、合唱团、学生刊物以及计算机/平面设计。
周末活动：电影、游戏、舞会、野餐和才艺表演。学生有机会到亚特兰大和Chattanooga，购物和游乐，参加文体活动等。Phoenix Quest 项目包括背包旅行、独木舟、皮划艇和山地自行车等活动。
毕业去向
学生毕业升入院校：奥本大学，乔治亚理工学院，默瑟大学，阿拉巴马大学，乔治亚大学等。
