瑟里胡学校
Solihull School
瑟里胡学校Solihull School成立于1560年。最初由St Mary和St Katherine教会的捐助，在St Alphege教区教堂成立的。最初，该基金提供给了在Solihull自由文法学校的校长。1615年学校搬到Park Road，后来被重新命名为Malvern House直到1882年。自1882年以来，学校在招生数量和设施上已逐步扩大。到1946年，学校成为独立的学校。1949年，学校被接纳为理事机构协会。
地理位置
瑟里胡学校Solihull School位于伯明翰Birmingham的瑟里胡Solihull。距伯明翰机场只有15分钟的车程。离伯明翰火车站只有15分钟，到伯明翰市区也很方便，只有几十分钟的车程。伯明翰是一个非常大的城市，有中国城，也有很多世界知名品牌的专卖店，是一个购物的好地方。此外，该市离曼彻斯特也很近。
瑟里胡学校Solihull School有很有竞争力橄榄球和曲棍球队，足球在初中部学生中最受欢迎。学校还有20多于18个月团、管乐团、合唱团和其他团体。为了庆祝建校100周年成立的一支组合乐队在过去的10年中曾多次出访亚洲和南美。男子橄榄球队和女子曲棍球队每两年都将出访南非、澳大利亚和加拿大。
院校设施
瑟里胡学校Solihull School占地大约65英亩，学校体育设施十分完善，建有好几块足球场、橄榄球场和网球场。在一英里之外的Copt Heath，学校还有13块场地，包括3个橄榄球场，2个曲棍球场和板球场。1990年新的初中部大楼建成，1995年，同时增加了科学实验室的数量；1998年，教室基本被全部翻新；2002年，新图书馆落成，并斥资百万英镑建成新的音乐厅和剧院大楼，并命名为Bushell Hall。2003年，一个新建的亭阁落成，并以前任校长Alan Lee Pavilion命名。到2005年9月，学校又为古典文学、历史学、经济学、宗教学和信息技术部门新建了15个教学楼，还有一些新兴的大型多功能教室。
学术成就
瑟里胡学校Solihull School学生的总体学术成绩在过去三年中呈逐年上升的趋势。在2006年的A-LEVEL考试中，有83.18%的学生拿到了A/B的成绩（2005年为82.29%，2004年为78.25%），全英排名第94位。在2006年的GCSE考试中，有62.1%的学生拿到了A/A的成绩（2005年为59.8%，2004年为56.11%）。
