范斯特学校是一所私立的大学预备寄宿高中，建于1944年。其宗旨是为学生提供优秀的学习环境，使每一位学生都能发挥其最大的潜能。学校帮助每一位学生进入理想的大学/学院深造。该校招收美国各州和国际学生，除学习能力外，学校还培养学生的社交能力。
学校特色：
老师都是经过严格挑选不但拥有硕士以上学历，更懂得心理学，对学生耐心教育。大部分老师都是住在校内的，课余时间师生相聚一堂，学生不仅能得到老师的辅导和光信，更有大家庭的欢乐气氛。采用小班授课，老师可以关心到每个学生；学校提供大学预备课程，学生可以把学分转入大学。
学校设施：
行政楼、图书馆、艺术中心、健身房、宿舍、体育场、室外体育馆、医务室、食堂、娱乐中心、教学楼、画室等
体育活动：
骑马、篮球、游泳、绳索攀登、越野、有氧运动、举重、健美操、足球、英式足球、曲棍球、田径。
课外活动：
学生可在周末的时候到附近的图克森镇放松心情，在那里有许多活动。例如：交响乐团、看电影、博物馆等。此外还有一些文化和体育活动。除此之外，学生每年还会组织一次春季短途旅行。
