南岸职业技术与继续教育学院是昆士兰州著名的TAFE学院，也是昆士兰州最大的学院之一，目前在读学生超过30,000名。位于布里斯班的中心地带，滨临美丽的布里斯班河，徒步即可到达布里斯班中央商务区和市中心。共三个校区均临近市中心，文化娱乐活动丰富，交通便利。学院开设了多种英语课程的联合课程，以及预科课程(完成后允许入读该学院的文凭课程和合作大学的学位课程)。还针对国际学生开设过渡课程，为其攻读大学学位课程打下良好的基础。完成文凭课程后，允许学生转移学分，直接入读大学学位课程。因此每年都有许多国际学生入读该学院。
南岸职业技术与继续教育学院和昆士兰州的几所重点大学合作，开设文凭课程和高级文凭课程。学院的大部分课程均得到了昆士兰州政府的津贴，因此学费相对较低。为希望入读大学学位课程的学生，开设了教学质量优异的过渡课程。学院采取小班授课的方式，为学生提供在“成人”环境中学习技术和专业知识的绝好机会。作为昆士兰州第一所公私合作的学院，学生不仅可学习公私机构的专业知识、获取资金支持和还能从实践中积累宝贵的经验。特色设施：南岸职业技术与继续教育学院的三个校区均提供良好的现代化设施。如：计算机教室，会议和典礼场地，礼堂，特殊培训室，运动大厅，户外典礼场地，电子学习中心等。图书馆和电子学习中心位于学院的南岸校区、Morningside校区和KangarooPoint校区。图书馆里拥有大量的学习资料：相关的课本，期刊和视频。电子学习中心为学生提供一个使用配套软件的支持环境。此外，学院设有一个保健、美容和理疗中心，将按摩、美容和保健融为一体，提供一站式服务。
