培兰德学院是一所卓越的政府高中，从教学角度，在过去的四年中，取得显著的，有成就的教育成果。2006年，中档大学入学指数为83，科培兰德学院取得了99.35的优异成绩。曾经在2006年获得堪培拉地区中学排名最高的3所中学之一。2007年Copland college和Melba High School合并了，所以从2008年开始被称为Melba Copland Secondary School。

培兰德学院在2005年被授予首都职业教育与培训学校的优秀成果奖。该学院在过去四年中已经两次夺得这个奖项。
