学校概况
建立于1908年，是南澳大利亚第一所免费的高级中学，曾经是南澳唯一的重要语言学校，能为学生提供多种语言的学习，学校重视多元化，并为所有学生的发展提供支持。
阿德雷德高级中学成立于1908年，有着悠久的教育传统。现有学生1000余名。学校致力于实现学生在学术领域的个人完善，并提供多种机会把学生塑造成为具有高度责任感的地球公民。
阿德雷德高级中学具有独特的，超过60多种不同文化背景的校园氛围。学校珍视多元化，并为所有学生提供支持。
教学成果
2006年，阿得雷德高级中学100%的毕业生获得SACE，83.2%的毕业生通过了TER顺利升入大学，其中80分以上学生占到40.4%。
语言教学特色
学校是南澳地区最具特色，能够提供法语、德语、意大利语、日语、拉丁语、中文、西班牙语多语种教学的学校。
学生支持项目：国际学生个人辅导；熟练掌握两种语言的办公室服务人员；学校咨询指导人员；年级和专业指导人员；学生结对伙伴项目。
优秀学生潜力项目：为优秀学生提供阿德雷德大学、福林德斯大学、阿德雷德TAFE、智力竞赛以及其他竞赛活动的扩展课程。
学校特色及办学成就：阿德雷德高级中学卓越的学术成果为国内外所公认；与阿德雷德大学、福林德斯大学、南澳大利亚大学的语言和文学系建立紧密联系；与城市表演艺术机构建立合作关系；语言、数学、科学、技术、英语等科目在全国学科竞赛中屡获殊荣；1997－2001年间连续五年闯入州辩论大赛决赛阶段；作为三所州立中学之一，获得参加国家皮划艇锦标赛资格；参加国家PEDAL PRIX锦标赛。
