院校概况
纽约电影学院是纽约州教育部许可的高等艺术院校。该校课程由美国全国艺术与设计协会（NASAD）认可。NASAD是美国教育部授权的对美国所有艺术与设计课程进行认证的权威机构。

位置
纽约电影学院在纽约设有3个授课地点：联合广场校区、Soho校区和Tribeca校区。联合广场是电影制作课程和电影剪辑课程的场地，学校位于广场的东北角，100 East 17th Street, New York。而Soho校区位于百老汇街，在纽约流行时尚的艺术前沿区，是表演专业和音乐剧专业的场地。

交通
纽约市有着极为便利的公共交通条件，在纽约市区不需要自己开车。曼哈顿、布鲁克林、皇后区、布朗克斯区以及史坦顿岛五个区都可以用公交一卡通，而从新泽西州、长岛到纽约搭乘火车、地铁、渡船都可到达。
