　　阿舍姆学校坐落于澳大利亚新南威尔士州的悉尼东部郊区，富人区Edgecliff。学校在悉尼港附近，有很理想的地理位置，距离悉尼市中心只有3.5公里，距离邦代海滩（Bondi Beach）也只有5公里。学校拥有设备完备的教室，寄宿楼，大食堂，剧院，研究室，音乐学院，三个图书馆，大面积的公共活动场地，椭圆跑道，网球场，游泳池，体操馆等。作为澳洲最古老的女子寄宿制学校之一，学校还拥有物质遗产和一些特别建造的大楼。

　　从高中开始，学校便注重发展女生们对学习的热爱。她们将会变成富有活力的独立思考者，思想开阔，但真实的面对自己和他人。学校从7年级开始，采用道尔顿教育理念计划（Dalton Plan），其基本理念是“自由和合作”。所谓“自由”，是指让学生拥有尽可能多的自由时间和自由意志，让她们在教师的指导下相对自由地支配学习时间、选择学习科目、选择合适的学习速度等。所谓“合作”，则是指培养女生们良好的社会适应能力、善于与他人共处的能力。这种教学理念让学校95%的学生都进入到适合的大学。

　　体育方面，学校拥有专业而资质雄厚的教练队，提供给学生一个安全而愉快的运动环境。学校的运动项目同时也受到了许多其他私立学校和地区政府的肯定。女生们可以根据自己的兴趣，选择游泳，跳水，马术，手球，网球，划船，篮球，曲棍球，田径，冬季运动项目，体操，航海，水球等等，另外，学校还特别提供有三项全能运动，塑身训练以及舞蹈。

　　音乐方面，学校每周提供有超过600节课程给全校学生，让女生们充分选择到自己喜欢的项目。学校的大部分音乐老师在其专业上都已经取得了很高的水平，帮助女生们在学习和演奏中获得快乐。

　　戏剧方面，学校提供给学生许多机会参与演出。专业的导演和设计师及学校的老师组成一个富有创意的团队，结合学校的歌剧院，让女生们从台前参与到幕后，享受每一场演出。
