学校位于美丽的波士顿近郊Natick区，学校旁边有公车站，坐车25分钟就可以抵达波士顿市区。而步行15分钟到downtown，可以shopping等，而拥有四百万人口的波士顿蕴含了丰富的艺术与文化资源，胡桃山中学Walnut Hill School是美国少数几个邻近大都会的寄宿学校之一。学校成立于1893年是美国最古老的艺术高中之一，也是美国少数几个临近大都会的寄宿学校之一。
学校活动：
学校除了常规的体育活动外，还有参观美术馆、博物馆、音乐会、舞会、看电影、表演及其它文化活动。
