堪萨斯市医学与生物科学大学
Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences
堪萨斯市医学与生物科学大学，原名健康科学大学--骨科医学院（堪萨斯市），已有将近90年培养骨科医学专家的历史。1916年5月16日，在堪萨斯城中心区的一座办公楼内学院成立了，主要接治骨科及骨外科病人。George G. Conley是学院的第一任校长。在学院成立第二年的一月，第一位学生Mamie Johnston从学校毕业了，他是一位转学学生。从成立直今，已有超过7000名学生从该校毕业。
在学院成立当年的晚些时候，学校就搬到了15th and Troost Avenue；1921年，学院又一次搬迁到了Independence Avenue ，这也是学校现今的地点。1928年，学院更名为堪萨斯城市骨科医学院；1980年，学院成为健康科学大学的主要学院。学院有长久的、引以为荣地为当地社区居民提供医疗服务的传统。1924年，学院下属的Lakeside Osteopathic 医院成立了；1936年，Conley医院成立了，该医院后成为了妇产科医院。1944年，Osteopathic 医院成为了大学主要的教学医院，1972年，大学医院成立了。 到目前为止，堪萨斯市医学与生物科学大学已成为全美20所成立时间最久、规模最大的骨科医院之一、堪萨斯城最古老的医学院、堪萨斯州最大的学院，已有超过900名学生学习为期4年课程。
