洛杉矶皮尔斯学院
Los Angeles Pierce College
洛杉矶皮尔斯学院也被称为皮尔斯学院，是一所两年制的公立社区学院，在伍德兰希尔现有全日制和半日制共两万多名学生。
洛杉矶皮尔斯学院建校于1947年9月15日，当时只有70个学生和18位教师，最初是一所农业学院，学院最初的教学重点是农作物的耕种和动物的饲养。洛杉矶皮尔斯学院开设的专业有：农业学、运动教育、人类学、艺术、建筑学、汽车服务工业、商业管理、化学、儿童发育、计算机应用、计算机科学、合作性教育、教育学、电子学、英语、历史和人类学、工业技术、人类科学、数学、媒体艺术、现代语言、音乐、护士学、哲学与社会学、政治科学、心理统计学、演讲交流、剧场艺术、兽医技术等等。在洛杉矶皮尔斯学院完成学业的学生可以转学到加利福尼亚州的大学，或者私立大学获得学士学位。
