洛约拉马利蒙特大学创立于 1911 年，是美国西海岸最大规模的天主教耶稣会大学，是美西地区的一所顶尖私立大学，以Jesuit/Marymount人文教育传统为创校的基础：学业精进、完善人格、信仰服务以及发扬公义。

LMU硕士提供会计、企业创业学、金融、人力资源、信息科学、管理、市场、传媒、艺术、行政与领导力、双语教育、早期儿童教育、初等教育、心理学、中等教育、特殊教育、生物、英语、土木工程、环境科学、电气工程、计算机科学、机械工程、影视制作、电视写作与制片人、剧情片编剧等38个硕士课程。
