南普吉特湾社区学院
South Puget Sound Community College
南普吉特湾社区学院位于华盛顿州内的奥林匹亚市。奥林匹亚市为华盛顿州之首都。校园绿叶成荫，宽广的走道可带领着学生到各个所需的服务中心。该校建立于一九二六年，是华盛顿州内扩展最快的小区大学之一。由于该校地点处于市区外围，距离市中心及主要购物中心只需几分钟。开车至西雅图、波特兰、太平洋海岸以及滑雪中心也只需短暂的路程。
历史沿革
1962九月，奥林匹亚学区创办了目前学院作为奥林匹亚职业技术学院（OVTI）。在奥林匹亚高中，成人教育的根，OVTI被安置在奥林匹亚市中心的蒙哥马利病房楼。
1967，社区大学的法案的通过了OVTI决定：留在奥林匹亚学区或加入州社区学院系统。这种选择导致了学院合并为12区与历史悠久的森特勒利亚学院。
1976、OVTI成为奥林匹亚技术社区学院（新型OTC）已被国家唯一的社区学院致力于技术教育的独特的区别。
上世纪80年代初增长带来的对大学的使命、范围、和物理环境。它提供了其第一副学士几百学生1982。增加了更多的程序。额外的三零一英亩的校园增添了mottman 1982。学院挑选新的吉祥物，“快船”取代以前的龟吉祥物“电影”（OV）。
1984，认识到大学的拓展任务，名字改了，再一次，这一次南普吉特湾社区学院。几年后，在1988，从1988的12区形成自己的自治区高校分裂，24区。
教育制度
一年四次招生，2月、5月、8月、11月。请在此日期前1-2个月办理手续。
专业训练课程
Associate of Technical Arts：
护理、计算机、网络、行政、汽车修护、医疗助理、幼教等...可提升专业知能以及加强进入就业市场的准备。
Intensive English Program：
英文集中课程：共分四等级，无需托福成绩，该校会以您在该校的英文写作能力测验为标准，进入英文集中课程或可直接选修大学的课程。
High School Completion Program：高中未毕业的学生可上该校高中班，领取美国的高中毕业证书。
住宿方面
寄宿家庭：选择寄宿家庭的学生可藉由与美国家庭人员共处的机会，学习美国的生活方式及文化。在住宿的期间学生可享有个人的私人的空间（私人房间）。寄宿家庭方面会供应三餐，费用会比在外租住公寓的支出便宜许多。
公寓：选择外租住公寓的学生可享受自由的独立生活，但由于饮食及其它 花费（例如购置家具）需要完全自付，我们通常会建议学生在美国宿家庭暂住一段（大概一年）时间，熟悉环境后才选择外租公寓。
公寓式酒店：酒店位于该校校园正对面。由于酒店的主要客户为长期住宿的客户，因此酒店房间内除了设睡房和浴室外，房间还有厨房的设备。
