麦尔学院

麦尔学院是天主教教会学校，也是美国天主教寄宿中学协会（Catholic Boarding Schools associations）的一元，创建于1863年。目前附属在Benedictine College大学之下，位于Kansas州历史丰富的Atchison市，35分钟可到堪萨斯市（Kansas City）。学校提供一个高品质、安全的教育环境，让学生参与各种学术、运动和团体的活动，强调学生独立、富有负责心和领导能力。教会教义应用在学习过程当中，所以除了教导学生如何学习外，学校也教导学生如何生活。
毕业要求：学生必须完成英语4个学分、科学3个学分、体育健康1个学分、宗教4个学分、数学3个学分、社会学4个学分（包括美国历史和美国政治）、艺术1个学分、第二外语2个学分、计算机1个学分、选修课3个学分以及20小时的社区服务

学校特色：麦尔学院占地62英亩，作为贝尼迪尼克坦大学的附属中学，宗旨是帮助学生成为他们想成为的人，并将学生塑造成能改变未来的人才。学校提供一个高品质、安全的教育环境，让学生参与各种学术、运动和团体的活动，强调学生独立、富有负责心和领导能力。学校里的学生来自世界各地，学生在这里学习如何融入社会、如果适应、尊重不通的文化和个人。
体育活动：篮球、棒球、足球、橄榄球、高尔夫、网球、排球、游泳、田径、摔跤、钻探队、远足、拉拉队
课外活动：艺术小组、唱诗班、戏剧、数学、摄影、科学、剪报、辩论、学生会
升入大学：98%升入大学，院校包括波士顿大学、加利福尼亚州立大学、克拉克大学、普渡大学、罗切斯特理工、堪萨斯大学、密歇根州立、华盛顿大学、贝尼迪尼克坦大学等
